Yeah, they turned to shit, 95% of the things their japanese branch does is mediocre or bad, exception being the odd handheld game once in a while (TWEWY, Bravely Default, Dragon Quest IX) and their management is totally retarded.
It's a pity really, before the merger Squaresoft was absolutely glorious, one of the best developers of the SNES and PS1 era, now I just want them to finish FFXV and Kingdom Hearts 3 and then they can go bankrupt for all I care, that or they make some serious, serious changes.
