"Xbox one has Halo 5, Fable legends, Forza 6 (more than likely), Crackdown, Phantom Dust, Tomb Raider, Gears of War, Scalebound, Quantum Break, Dance central, Master Chief collection, Sunset Overdrive, Spark, Forza Horizon 2, ect... I think we can agree that xbox one has more than enough games exclusive wise. Plus not to mention all the third party support. So more people are going to pick up an Xbox one than a Wii U."
Actually its unlikely people are cross shopping WiiU and X1 at all. The experiences they offer are very different.
X1s problem is Ps4. And THATS a biggie. X1 just looks unnattractive to gamers and publishers beside Ps4. Already seeing the rumblings from Ubisoft and Actvision about this. I DO think X1 sales will pick up. But Wii U sales will pick up too. X1 will win USA, Wii U is currently PASTING X1 in Europe though and of course Japan (shrinking market) is where Wii U will rank 1st for the generation.
H5 - is it announced for 2015?
GOW - I'd expect it for Christmas 2015.
Forza 6 - is it announced for 2015? Shocked at how poorly Forza 5 sold.
Tomb Raider - current iteration has sold TERRIBLY on X1
Crackdown - the original sold OK on a platform that had a lot more buzz. The sequel sold a LOT worse
Fable - should be interesting,. The main series sells well. The remasters (the journey, anniversary) have BOMBED
Sunset Overdrive - I'm quite interested in this. I think it will sell
Forza horizon 2 - Forza horizon 1 sold below expectations. About 40% of Forza 2 and even less compared to F3 and F4. Will be interesting to see if they can make this sell beyond the hardcore Forza peeps.
MCC - Will sell well up front and fade quickly. Its basically product people have . The fanbase will LOVE it. Newbies won't bother too much.
Its not a bad list. But there is nothing between now and Nov. which makes 2014 a lost cause for X1. 9M at the VERY outside by dec 31. 16-17 mil by the end of 2016.
