Wow... lots of replies. I'm just not at a point where there is enough incremental value to justify the price. If I was buying only one console, I'd give the PS3 a good look. That said, I need at least half a dozen or so exclusives that are "must-haves" and they just aren't there yet. MGS4 and Killzone2 look interesting. LBP as well... GT5 and FF might be great but they are waaaay off. And I don't buy movies other than animated flicks. Upscaling is working fine at the moment. I am probably going to have to see a $299 price tag on a BC machine to take the plunge. If MS cuts their price in the U.S. soon as is suspected, it may force Sony's hand by this holiday to reach the $299 price point. Doubtful, but one can hope.

For those of you hating on Sony and/or Microsoft, get over it. We need both to bash each other's brains in because the net result is higher quality games and a constant downward pressure on the cost of the console. Just like with HDDVD and Blu-Ray, the competition was spitting out better and better deals every day. With HD-DVD throwing in the towel, blu-ray prices have gone UP. I'd like to see all three consoles stay healthy as it causes each to innovate...

I hate trolls.
