I just don't see it happening. Streaming only is worse than a download only system where you buy digitally with no physical media. I don't see how anyone could think a streaming only service is a good thing. Microsoft was hammered hard by wanting an online only system. They didn't get the backlash simply because of the current internet infrastracture. I am for both and see both possibly happening only in the form of buying a digital version.
As for physical media, I am all for it so I am bias in that regard but I don't think for a bit that Streaming would take over digital purchases that you download "but" I can see a world were both co-exist, streaming and digital purchases that "doesn't" need online connectivity. Any case, it is too far out and I will continue to buy physical were I own the game. That to be is real value regardless not the option to oddly try to play those games on a smart phone or tablet.
