Why again would a developer want to release their game on a Nintendo console ?

I'm still trying to figure out how a smaller community equates to a lack of focus.  It's just smaller. 

You post as though you believe the Wii U isn't capable of an online game or DLC/extra content.  Do you realize the Wii U was the first home console to have same day download and retail release for every game?

mario kart 8,pikmin 3, hyrule warriors,and most likely smash bros all have dlc and it works fine

mario kart has new cars coming pikmin 3 had new missions hyrule warriors has new characters,stages, and costumes coming and smash might have dlc stages and characters

plus I''ll say wii u can handle online games
