It's bound to fail because people are more aware than ever that the targeted games don't stay exclusive. That's what really makes it a waste of MS's money

exactly

It was effective back when it all got started because none of us knew any better. Now we do. Anytime I see a game is exclusive to Xbox I know ask 2 things...

-Who is it made by?

-Who owns the IP?

Answering anything other than MS to these questions immediately casts doubt on the game's exclusivity. We have seen it before. ESIV:Oblivion, Bioshock, Ninja Gaiden, Mass Effect, Dead Rising, Castle Crashers, Tales of Vesperia, etc. None of them stayed. Meanwile on the other side of the water Sony might of had many games jump ship to Multiplatform.....but they also have consistant games that remained exclusive even now.

Microsofts intentions seems to make other console owners feel like second hand citizens and if you want to live in the big house you need to be on Xbox. All it really does is annoy  other console owners and envigorates their hatred for MS and their products.
