Why? It's just sales figures for video games, not plans for a top-secret military project. It gets even worse the further back you go in time. Nothing for the NES, SMS, or TG-16 exists, and I haven't been able to get anything for the SNES and Genesis prior to 1993 or anything for the Game Boy and Game Gear prior to 1995. Is it really that important to the NPD that the public doesn't know how much the Genesis started selling when Sonic came out, or how big the launch month of the TurboGrafx-16 was? |
