It is VERY wishful. Nice to see that you have commented the whole list. It was not made for serious at first but as I get more comments about it I start to believe in it myself. |
Alright, I've placed lots of thought, and now I'm ready to make my own list of 2015-ready games, worst-case scenario edition!
January: None. Take note that people are still coming of the holiday rush, so I don't think it makes sense for them to release anything at this point. However, this is the perfect time to start revealing games and getting people on the hype train.
February: Mario vs. Donkey Kong (Wii U). I doubt this being a capable retail release, but time will tell.
March: Mario Party 10. It seems nearly complete, so it makes sense for them to release in...Spring.
April: Mario Maker. Whether this becomes a retail release is still up in the air. I expect delays if they wish to flesh this out with additional stage styles.
From this point on, we have titles that can comfortably stand out as retail releases. Take note that the two platformers will release right after Mario Maker.Kirby and The Rainbow Curse. At E3, this was already a fleshed-out-looking title, and they already have a predecent for the gameplay.
May: Yoshi's Wooly World. I expect it to play second-fiddle to the big release this month...
Splatoon. Expect some hype being built for this game. Million-seller for sure, unless they screw it up royally.
June: None. Nintendo will focus on the 3DS's successes (and its successor, perhaps) for this month.
July: I don't expect any releases if Nintendo doesn't bring over Fatal Frame 5.
From this point on, I will disregard the presence of unannounced titles. That means that I recognize that Nintendo can come up with a bombshell in 12 months.
August: Devil's Third. This is the perfect time to release this game. No joke. I have a wide release window, though. I expect this to go anywhere from August to November.
September: No releases. I'm betting Persona 5 will release on PS3 this month as a sort-of swansong.
October: Xenoblade X. Of course, it'll be lost in the Persona hype, but...
Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem. This will capitalize, ever so slightly, on the Persona effect.
November: Zelda U. The Wii U cannot go out without a must-have release for this year.
December: Starfox U. Wishful thinking, I know, but Nintendo absolutely has to take advantage of this opportunity. Take note that they had the engine ready for E3, alpha build, at least. I say sixteen months is enough time for themk since Miyamoto has the gameplay down. Disclaimer: This is if Miyamoto decides not to include his two "projects" in Starfox U, in which case it'll be ready for mid-2016.

I WON A BET AGAINST AZUREN! WOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
:3
