Pretty terrible video. He does have some valid points, but when your argument involves completely neglecting to mention the positives in a balanced manner, as well as cherry picking information relating to other issues, it's perhaps not one you should be making.

I see nothing wrong with the service. It offers a new way of providing content to people that removes the need for native gaming hardware. If people don't want it or if Sony delivers it in a manner that makes people unhappy, then they still have the option of going out and buying a console/gaming PC and buying their content on disk or through downloads.

i thought the video was mainly fearing a worse case scenario on that will happen if streaming games becomes a viable opition.

Streaming will become a viable option. Maybe with PSNow, maybe with something in the future, but one day it will happen. The only thing that's important is that it remains just that; an option.

The reason MS weren't able to get away with their DRM policies was because people had alternatives, thus giving them the power to say no to MS. As long as those other options also remain viable, neither Sony nor any other company has the power to force us in one direction or another.

Streaming could end up being terrible, but it could likewise end up being great. If Sony start trying to force people over to PSNow or make it a necessity rather than an optional service, then we can all collectively tell them where to shove it :p In the meantime i'd rather give them feedback, and hope that PSNow can realize the potential game streaming has.
