Feel sorry for the people who haven't had the chance to even try the Xbox One, I know a bunch of people bash a certain console without even have played it or owned it. Sad truly. I mean at least give the console a try at a friends house or at a game store (they usually always have demo units). Tying yourself down to one console never made sense to me.

Side note: 90% of my friends have an Xbone or will be getting one in the future. Only a few have decided to go to PS4 (though that small percent happens to be a couple of good friends who I'm trying to convince to get an Xbox One)

Why do I need to own an inferior console to know that I don't like it, or the business practices or "vision" of the company behind it?  If you enjoy your XB1, great...have fun.  But I (and 10 million others) didn't like the lower specs of the XB1...or the library HALF the size of the PS4....or the UI (can NOT stand "Metro"!)...or the idea of Kinect...I also don't like the XB1 controller (360s was better IMHO).

As to "tying myself down to one console"?  Don't make me laugh.  There is not a SINGLE GAME that is Xbox exclusive that I can't live without!  The most appealing exclusive they have coming is Halo MCC...and I already own (and have played to death) Halo 1, 3, and  4 on my 360.

Not only do they not have any compelling exclusives (again, this is my personal opinion, yours may differ), but the VAST MAJORITY of games this generation will be multiplatform...and in almost every single case, those games look and play better on the PS4.

In any case, WHEN I buy a 2nd console, I am going to buy the WiiU, not the Xbox.  They have FAR more compelling exclusive games...and they offer game experiences that don't rely on having the most powerful hardware...it also has more "couch based" multiplayer games.  It, and it's library will complement my PS4 nicely.

In the end, for me, it really comes down to supporting the companies I believe do the most for their customers.  I won't be supporting MS, NOT because they have a lower powered box...but mainly because they keep trying to push it as being "the best" when it is obviously not.  It's because they don't do things "for the gamers" as they claim, but to try to pull one over on us.  It's not limited to the "Mattrick era" either.  Spencer orchestrated the moneyhatting timed exclusivity for Tomb Raider.  A move that benefits Microsoft, sure...but at the expense of the gaming community as a whole.  Bottom line...for me, there are PLENTY of reasons not to own an Xbox One...and I don't need to own one to know that it's not the right console for me!
