In any other Western country, there is some kind of constitutional freedom of speech and freedom of expression. If retailers choose not to stock a controversial game, or developers choose not to make their games controversial, that is self-censorship and has nothing to do with the government. (most likely done as a PR move to not offend easily offended people, religious, etc) That is what protects videogames from censorship, not a pointless internet organization. (all internet only organizations are pointless and influence nothing.) So you can stop bothering with this, because the fundamental freedoms of western nations has it covered anyway. Really, an internet forum organization with 8 members is about as useful as an internet petition: NOBODY CARES. |
