Why should I be excited about Guillermo Del Toro's SIlent hill involvement?

i just hope it wont be a "candy in the eye" kind of movie... like pacific rim... and no i wasn't talking about charlie hunnam's abs....

i hope it would be more psychological and focuses on the fear of the unknown.....
