This got me thinking, how capable would XBox One be to run Windows 8, the RT version? Imagine downloading an app that turns the X1 into a Windows RT device, enabling you to connect a mouse and keyboard, downloading apps and playing them. Would that even be possible or does the base OS of X1 demand to much? If it would be possible, the X1 would suddenly turn into to single greatest piece of tech in my home, ever. Imagine swithing between Titanfall and my Excel sheets :P. |
just saying,.. a tv and couch set up would be horrible for working with excel sheets. there is a reason people buy multiple devices that do very similar things. phones and tablets and laptops and consoles all have strenghts and weaknesses. consoles are great for entertainment but productivity things would just be a waste of time and effort on MS's part.
..but if they really wanted to waste a billion (or whatever) dollars i'm sure they could do it.
