Betrayal to fans? Microsoft is looking out for their own fans, and this deal made it possible for them to give their fans a game completely omptomized for the Xbox One. 

Microsoft is company, as is CD/SE. They aren't here to make sure every single gamer is happy. They are here to make money, and that's what Microsoft is giving them. 

Companies can't just make dick moves for quick profit because they're just "here to make money".  Building and preserving reputation is important to a businesses to keep making money.

Sony did the exact same thing with Final Fantasy when they stole it from Nintendo, and Nintendo did the exact same thing with Bayonetta 2. Like I said before, the industry isn't a fantasy land where the companies all work together to make everyone happy. No. They look out for themselves and their fans, and getting exclusive rights to games is one of the ways of doing so.

Final Fantasy switched to PS1 because of CD vs cartridge.  Do you have evidence that Sony paid for Final Fantasy?

Bayonetta was a niche flop.  Bayo 2 would not exist if it wasn't funded by Nintendo.

If someone at CD heard this news, they would probably just be happy that Microsoft is paying for their salaries. They don't care if some people who only have a PS4 feel betrayed for whatever reason.

No, people will be shamed by this.  Skilled and important staff can always find other jobs for a company that doesn't let them down.
