A lot of people are inclined to belive that next gen will be a type o service for any pc due to the rapidly increasing power of the pc's. Leaving consoles obsolete. Ninetendo will be the ones for sure to realease another console.

But seriously 2016? There is no way. If MS does release one then that would be even worse since MS does not support last gens the sales would disapear while the ps4 will keep selling another couple of years and for scertain achive 3:1.

I do agree though, and think that MS is more poised to take center stage for virtual consoles accessible through MS devices if they can get break out in hand held devices. Sony might be a strong contender there as well as they are already working towards that end with PS TV and would probably work with android and Windows devices as well...
