I think that the fitness industry in general tends to target the wrong demograhic from a profit making point of view. They target the beautiful perople who are already fit and healthy rather than the growing population of fat people, which according to some observers is reaching epidemic proportions. Wii Fit just makes so much sense in this respect, a way for unfit individuals to ease into a fitness lifestyle at their own pace away from the potentially demoralising environment of gyms.
