Hey Ben, have you seen Das Experiment?
It's a German film - hope you don't mind subtitles- about an actual sociological experiment that took place in Germany. a group of volunteers were split in to two groups, guards and inmates, and were to enact their roles in a simulated prison. In real life, the experiment had to be closed down when violence broke out between the two groups. In the film, things are obviously expanded upon, but it makes for a great psychological thriller. I'd highly recommend it for someone looking for something new.
In fact. Speaking of german films, have you seen Run Lola Run? If not, I really can't explain it at all aside from telling you to watch it.
P.S. Also, Cube. Have you seen Cube? Cube is a sort of B movie, but it's one with a really great concept and a consistent creepily cool feeling.
