I saw a clip on G4's Cinematech last night (ep aired within the last two weeks) of a Mad Catz "Motion Capture Glove" for the PS2 that was marketed with a nice-looking golf game. It appeared to be limited to that application, and it worked by tracking the hand motion instead of using a controller Wii-style (and much more cumbersome, it appeared that you had to put the gloves on and they were wired into the PS2!) But not a completely wrongheaded try at doing something along these lines.
Does anyone know if this thing actually came to market?
