Is that really something to complain about though? Yes, TLOU: remaster is a port of a year old game. Yes, it's not necessary to buy the game if you already own the PS3 version. But an improved version of the game with added bonuses (DLC) for $50 isn't bad. I just don't see why its getting focused on so much lately. There are lots of other titles that get a remaster that don't get half the effort put into it (Resident Evil.REmake anyone?), that get ignored entirely.
About covering the hole.. It takes time to port a game to another system, optimising the engine, adding improvements to it etc. Sony and their WWS are hard at work at developing future titles. TLOU just so happens to fill the gap between a quiet period.
For EA access, its a little too early to make a judgement. Though the price for it ($30) seems fine. But yeah, it really depends how frequent the games release (and quality of games) to see if its worth subscribing for.
