Contradiction: Isn't TLOU:R also giving gamers choice like people argue for EA Access?

Price isn't an issue here. If you want to compare EA Access with price then compare Apples with Apples. Compare EA Access with Game with Gold and PS Plus. That's it's direct competition.

With that logic you can say that any new game released is higher than an EA Access sub. What's the point?

Well then as others have pointed out, on VGC there is no equating them. EA Access has copped far more flak on these forums than TLOU:R. Maybe try a different forum, where perhaps the balance is different?
