Why doesn't Sony just open more Naughty Dog studios and close all non-Naugty Dog ones?

I would love to Sony to integrate all their studios to all of them achieve the best together. That's what I want. But the name of the studio that do it changes nothing, and ND is still under Japan Studios to me. JS have lots of creativity and do really unique works.

JS are on a whole other league in terms of developer talent and creativity when compared to ND. ND is more of a technically superior dev since they work machine rather than devkit.

ND makes competent, linear third person shooters that just about any studio could spit out all the same. They simply have a much better writing group than most studios, and a wizkids working on resolutions/graphics.

That doesn't tell the whole story. There's more to their games.
