The market has spoken, they do NOT want the WiiU & what it offers, instead they want the PS4 & what it offers...the sales speak for themselves.
There is no 'Should', the WiiU is a poor product and the market at large has rejected it, hence the poor sales....this is how the free market works.
Also for those that love it and say it's a great product, keep in mind that their is a fandom for just about everything, so you personally liking it and thinking it's a great product doesn't make it so. Again, the sales or lack there of show this.
Nintendo are the ones responsible for the WiiU failure in the market, so it's them and them alone that can turn this around....well at least try too. They can start by overhauling the performance of the UI cuz currently it's slow as hell...funny thing is the PS3 is faster when navigating to the system options than the WiiU, then Nintendo can move into 2014 with the way they handle DRM; as in digital content locked to an account NOT hardware, an account that can be activated/deactivated from hardware by the user either on the hardware it's self or from Nintendo's official website, a proper online infrastructure that is competitive enough while providing a unique Nintendo like service similarly to how Sony did PS+ ... If they need to charge for online, then do it but make it actually worth while ... Again look at PS+... If it's great the fans will pay, hell even Microsoft was forced to copy PS+.
