On my first play through I levelled everyone very similar to you and tried to make sure that none of the characters where being neglected. I found that very late in the game I was really struggling to pass levels like that. I also refused to use any of the Laguz nobles (except Tibarn) so that might have been a huge part of my stuggles though. On Micaiahs team I favored Edward, Nolan, Soothe and Micaiah and if anyone else (including BK) was getting any EXP, throughout Part I, that I thought was avoidable I would restart the level. It made Part I kind of challenging at times but really paid off now that im in Chapter IV. Edward and Nolan are both 20/16 on just the first chapter and share an A support. They dodge/destroy almost everything right now and I dont need to use Naesala or Skrimir at all so other units in need of levelling like Marica and Soothe are getting a lot more attention.
