They can if the Wii U suddenly begins outselling its competitors by a wide margin but in this current society its highly doubtful.
As others have said Nintendo will need to go out and support other devs to attain those games: ie Bayonetta 2, Devils Third.
Nintendo can easily do this but they are also money conscious as well which will hamper such decisions.
