There is a lot to point there.
God of War 2 was a sequel of a recently very well received and acclamed IP, it was predictable that it would be well received again.
Also, PS2 was a monster that sold 1/3 of it's pieces within PS3 already in the market, so not that difficult to one of the most expected games on it would sell well.

Also, yes, teasing it at E3 would have gone me go nuts xD
But it's shameful to see such a great game likely to be turning his 15th anniversary without even a single thing made except for the original game, really shameful. When it turned the 10th anniversary was already terrible, and the now the 15th too and nothing... I wonder if Sony have anything that prevent them from releasing something more of LoD, or they are just willing to try smaller projects over smaller projects that means no risk for them, but will likely bring no amazing possibilites also, until a luck one turn into something big and they can really profit from it. Same with The Last Guardian, they probably would have discarded it LONG ago if they hadn't already announced it.

Shameful indeed. Sony's 1st, 2nd and 3rd party studios are already plenty and 1000 indie developers are making their games for PS but Dragoons aren't 1 of them.

And if another RPG games i bet that Guerilla Games will show their project at Gamescom. There's a lot of rumors on internet about this.

Well the Last Guardian is technically Shuhei's fault for showing it too early and now look what happened. But i still hope its in development.......i hope.

Wait a minute.......thats it! Assign any indie developers for Dragoon game! With the Unreal Engine, Crytek Engine, Unity Engine or Sony-owned PhyreEngine, developing games would be a lot more easier. A Remake is a good start.
