But you're using 7th gen numbers. This would be data going all the way back to 2006. I'm talking about data going from 2010 forward. The transition from 7th gen to 8th gen brought about a serious decline in video game revenue in the UK. Places such as France and Germany are becoming more relevant.

Using VGC is fine for unit sales, but for revenue, you gotta look at legit sources. I gave you a source and you didn't like it. So, I asked you to provide me a source and you gave me a reasonable one, but it didn't have France's numbers. I have a feeling that you're seeing what I'm saying, but refuse to acknowledge it.

How about this?

Total revenue:
UK = #5 in the world
France = #7 in the world
Germany = #4 in the world

# of gamers per market segment:
UK - Console + Handheld = 33.4 million
France - Console + Handheld = 30 million
Germany - Console + Handheld = 30.9 million

UK - PC/Mac = 20.8 million
France - PC/Mac = 16.6 million
Germany - PC/Mac = 26.3 million

Shows that Germany is the biggest overall market, but largely due to PC gaming, on console alone UK would appear to be the biggest market. With France coming in 3rd on both overall and just consoles.

This is December 2013/January 2014 data from:

http://www.newzoo.com/infographics/infographic-french-games-market/

Ok. So, if that's the case, why don't we include France and Germany? Why is it always the UK? BTW: your sources don't mention that UK is #1 in the console space.
