Then multiple platforms and then multiple studios. In order for the company to transition, we still had to take into account the retail market in the meantime. We couldn't just go 100 per cent full blown into free-to-play immediately. So in a sense we used these titles to transition out of these markets. And the transitioning out is still not finished. We're still committed to retail this year and some of it will be next year. You'll hear of that soon. But the majority of our game launches this year are already games as a service, and will be more and more so in the coming years. |
i think if they find an oppertunity to do make another retail game and have it have the chance of bringing them money they will do it. in the position they are in now they will do what ever they can to stay alive. personally, its not like i really care.
i wonder though, if they really dont want to do retail games anymore, why not sell the Ryse IP to MS?
