Now that I think of it, would Microsoft suddenly stand a chance in the Japanese market without Sony around?  The PS3 got/is still getting a bloody TON of exclusive-by-default Japanese games.  Would these studios migrate to the Wii U or to the Xbox One instead of the PS4?

If the Xbox One got the next Persona, Disgaea, Tales, Warriors, and the like, it would make it a bunch more attractive for some of us.

Imo they would just go to Nintendo. Ms doesn't have a handheld so I'm not sure if Japanese devs would suddenly jump on board the xbox if the scenario the op laid out happened. Although I would love it they did
