From what I've read, the Sunni muslims have different opinions about ISIL. Some support them because they are against the Shia government which has unfairly discriminated against them for a few years now. And there are others who are fighting against ISIL because they are against what they are doing. The ISIL also imposes many strict Sharia rule in the places they are present, and some like the people of Mosul, do not want to live like that. What I eventually see happening, is the Kurds, the Sunni's, and the Shia's each getting their own country with Iraq being compeltely split up. I guess its better that way. Maybe that will finally end the sectarian violence Iraq has faced for so many years. |
That sounds very likely even though it shouldn't have to be that way. Regardless this caliphate ISIL claim will happen (over the whole Muslim world!) won't be very likely
