@ ioi

The point does stand that, like Diomedes, your only criticism every single time is that PS3 is "too low" and 360 "too high". You're never around when our PS3 figures are higher than that of another source or Xbox360 figures lower. You obviously have an agenda and it is a little tiresome.

When was the PS3 significantly overtracked or the 360 significanty undertracked compared to the NPD or Chart Track? Japanese figures are mostly posted after Famitsu's figures, so they don't differ too much. Europe and World data is probably off the most because of tracking difficulties (and for many regions a lack of information), whenever I find relevant data I share it here on VGChartz (like for instance quotes with regard to Australia's PS3/Bravia sales)

Note I don't find it a problem if all figures are let's say up to 25% overtracked or undertracked for a week or month, the sales trends and ratios remain roughly the same. It's when one platform is significantly overtracked and the other undertracked, this is when the value of comparitive data becomes less useful (maybe even counter-productive, wrong conclusions).

Believe me, I would state the same if it's the other way around, but of course if the PS3 would be overtracked for once compared to the 360, this does even out things a little. It's normal for undertracking and overtracking to alternate (if on week you overtrack a platform by 25% and the next week undertrack by about 25%, the end result will probably be pretty close), but constant trends of over- and/or undertracking does raise questions on why this is the case.

I do provide sources and write my own analysis's every now and then, you can take them into account or ignore it (they are just my perspectives based on available data and IMO informed speculations). So far when I thought some data was clearly off I shared my perspectives and usually turned out to be correct, like with regard to comparitive worldwide christmas 2007 sales and 2008 comparitive sales so far. I also shared my perspectives on future sales, I always try to state plenty of reasons and factors, you can write me off as a fanboy or take the comments seriously. It's your choice. I don't have any malicious intends and what I write I honestly believe.
