Exactly...you won't hear anything until it's OFFICIALLY announced.  Also...why would Gamestop be showing off a "Halo Edition" mouse if they weren't planning on a PC release?  It's coming guys...even if the devs say "no port is planned", how much work is really needed to take it from the XB1 to PC?  They are both x86 platforms with ATI GPUs, it would take a trivial amount of effort to port it.
