No adjustments done, even though Germany alone warrants a fairly sizeable one.

If we were to assume that the deviation in Germany applies to the whole of Europe, it would mean 450,000 more units for PS4 and 130,000 fewer units for X1, meaning 9.3m for PS4 and 4.9 for X1.

Of course, that's not necessarily the case, but still something to consider. I think VGC failed to realise that the PS4 has been widely available since WD week for the first time in mainland Europe. I bet the baseline increased since then.

MK8's effect on Wii U still impresses, I didn't expect a single game to double sales for so long. I thought VGC was overestimating its effect but the last NPD showed otherwise, so well done. If these numbers are true, sales are flat WoW. A price cut before the holiday season with strong SW and it might do decent numbers this year (for Wii U standards, anyway).

The Xbox One still declining. It was at 49k before the price cut announcement and is at 55k this week. It might keep dropping too, so it doesn't seem the baseline has increased much if at all. It should help during the holidays though, $500 for a console for your kids is a tough sell. Still, this console has a huge identity crisis and is dead in mainland Europe. MS needs to focus on the US and UK and try to maintain the brand alive for next gen.
