Agreed, though emulaters and touchscreens don't really go well together.

Most emulators support bluetooth gamepads (f.e. PS3 controllers), both on iOS and on Android. You need a jailbreak on iOS to get access to emulators and to set up a PS3 controller as MFi controller, but most Android devices also need root to connect a wireless gamepad... so not much difference between the two.
