Well Arrietty was a pretty bland looking movie, another young witch in a fantasy world that looks EXACTLY like all the previous Ghibli.

But the responsible for both the decision to produce a poorly unoriginal movie AND then to close it are the shareholder leeches fault, they destroy everything while draining you of all your money, talent and quality.

Dude, are you fucking kidding me? Arrietty wasn't about a witch. There was no magic involved. It was The Borrowers as a Ghibli movie. The concept is little people that live in the walls of your house and take your things and that's why they disappear. It wasn't even a fantasy world.

See I'm completely confused so much their movies look similar and lack in style unlike, say, Satochi Kon's movies which are recognizable at first sight.

Look similar and lack in style? The only patern is the strong female lead in Hayao Miyazaki's movies.

The man deserves a good retirement. Too bad the studio was too dependant on him.

I like Satoshi Kon's movies too, but they don't have that spark that Miyazaki gives them. Plus he only made 4 movies so far, compared to 11 for Miyazaki, not counting all the shorts and tv series. You try making 11 movies that are completely different in style...
