Should the next Nintendo handheld console have the 3D element?

I would rather they focus on a better native resolution instead of putting in the 3D element. The 3D is honestly pretty bad on most games. Games like Pokemon X/Y take it out almost completely. Just focus on making one really great screen with a beautiful HD resolution, instead of 2 subpar screens that a lot of games will never really take advantage of anyway.
