I think I already did this for E3 but what the heck here's one for Gamescom as well.
My ideal not totally unrealistic Sony Gamescom conference 2014:
We start with one of Sonys classic game montages showing off what Sony has to offer
The montage directly leads into a demo of Driveclub, showcasing its weathersystem
After the demo Jim Ryan takes the stage talking about how that was Driveclub, only one part of Sonys "massive lineup of AAA games this holiday season", then talks more about PS4, best place to play etc. announces 10 million PS4s sold
Now the second big PS exclusive this holiday season takes the stage with another demo: LBP3
After that it's time for The Order 1866 which finally shows off some actually great looking gameplay
Followed by Bloodborne, which is demoed on stage as well, the crowd loves it and the demo is ended with the announcement of an release date sometime in March 2015
We now go into the Third Party segment which is thankfully kept rather short a demo of Far Cry 4 and Batman Arkham Knight are shown
What follows is the indie part, a lot of new indie games are announced for PS4, one new exclusive, also there're new trailers for Rime and Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, the second of those two even releases in 2014
No Man's Sky gets another trailer and a Spring 2015 release window
Finally Sony wants to show us some more of their upcoming PS4 retail exclusives, starting with the first trailer of the Ratchet & Clank Re-imagining (Summer 2015)
After that MM steps up to reveal their new IP, MM style is very noticable, very quirky and creative looking title (Fall 2015)
Finally Jim Ryan steps up again, thanks everyone in the audience and wishes them a great Gamescom, but doesn't want to leave us without showing us one more thing
Everything goes dark and and we see the Guerrilla Games logo on screen, followed by the rumoured redheaded female protagonist of their new RPG IP, the graphics look astonishingly good as we've come to expect from GG and it looks like they might have managed to make something that could help them to successfully get away from Killzone.
...so yeah I'm getting kinda hyped too.
