Scheming is common in any larger company. But since I do not want to see Nintendo dying, I hope Iwata will change his opinion or go soon. Nintendo needs to develop for attractive, up to date and competitive hardware. Best solution would be to develop an own tablet with a real button game pad while releasing older Pokemon and Mario games for Iphone and Android as a field test.
