It's really hard to tell. Nintendo seldom really push their hardware to it's limits, especially the handhelds.
I expect the 3DS is more powerful in a technical sense, but that you may see all of 3 games in it's lifetime library which really try to take advantage of that. For most intents and purpose, the 3DS may as well be an N64 with batteries.
But the 3DS has Youtube and Netflix apps.
