all promo material is exclusively controlled by MS so they cant do that.

Why do MS let Sony, their primary competition, put the PS3/PS4 logos on there, then? 

because they dont, check the actual advertisments. Its strictly MS. Even to this day. Hell the only time we actualy see anything PS related for COD is when they show it in magazines a couple of screenshots, but not many people read those and the ones who do know the PS and xbox versions are gonna be pretty much the same.
