Who's your favorite video game character of all time?

Link, unsurprisingly, for me. I guess it's kind of unfair since the name captures so many individuals, but they all share the same attributes: courage, honor, determination, selflessness. That fact that Link has no voice and that we as players can give him our name makes him an even greater character. He allows us the be the hero.

Honorable mentions include Mario, Samus, Ryu, Master Chief, Gordon Freeman, and Solid Snake.
