Why I Dont think Bungie Will Raise Destiny's Lvl Cap

DCUO did something like a soft cap also. After 20, your gear/Combat Rating was your new level. I can't wait to see the first group of full fledged destiny elitists crying for the content to be made harder so only they can beat it. Gotta look games with MMO-qualities :)
