I don't recall myself saying that PS3 sales wouldn't rise, though I suppose others did. I do recall "people" saying the PS3 would sell 600k in Others alone this week as well. In fact I recall a number of people claiming that the numbers must be wrong and the PS3/GT5P is obviously undertracked, whereas I don't see a single person claiming that the PS3 is overtracked. That indicates to me that either the Sony fans are just more irrational, or that the game/sales spike didn't meet expectations.
