Ok. I will repeat. This thread was SIMPLY about how Nintendo is about more than a handful of IPs!!! It is to refute those who claim otherwise. Regardless if in house or published. NO WHERE does the original topic mention Sony or even MS. It does not list this to compare to other platforms. It was ONLY to point out Nintendo is more than Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Donkey Kong, Kirby etc. So again I say you've missed the point of the original poin

Tell me, not including Mario,Zledo, Pokemon, Donkey, Kirby, who is to say how many new IPs Nintendo owns is a lot? Owning 1 or 2 new ips since the Wii U release date, who is to say that is a little or a lot? No one, that is why you compare it with Microsoft and Sony.

Example, if Sony owned 20 new IPs since the PS4 launch and the Wii U 5, are you going to say that Nintendo owns a lot? No, that is why you compare. I'm sure that is what people have been doing, when they look at Sony's new IP on PS3 and then Nintendos New IPs on Wii, my god, Wii era, barely any new IP. Look at the Wii's new IP list, lmao....

Ok, but that really didn't seem the point comparing to Sony at all. You're right who says a lot is a lot and a little is a little. If I take the comparison to be completely accurate it still doesn't mean anything. Do they have less than Sony, again according to the list, yes. But that still doesn't mean the 71 listed for Nintendo since 2001 is 'not' a lot. I could say Nintendo is a smaller company so maybe for their size to game release they have created more - I am just saying as reference. I am not trying to legitimately make that correlation. So this stil takes me back to the initial point, Nintendo is more than just Mario and a few other IPs. They have published or created many other IPs since 2001.
