So, for this month, are we actually 100% sure that someone at Nintendo said that these figures represent shipped to retailers? BEcause I've  just gone through all documents and can't find it either way. I want to know from those who think it's sold-through, where they're getting their info from.

If it is shipped, then I'm seeing a lot of apples and oranges being compared in this thread.

Whenever someone gives "sell-THROUGH" values, that means it was sold to customers, not retailers. Takeda gave a Sold-through value on the 27th of June, so it was sold to customers at that time. Nintendo's Financial Reports are always shipped unless otherwise stated in press-releases, because that's how it has always been. If you don't believe me, then consider this: How could Nintendo have sold both approximately 2 million and 2.8 million to customers for roughtly the same time period, how does that make any sense? We're talking about Q1, which ended on the 30th of June. Takeda confirmed 2 million to customers (sell-through) on the 27th, the 2.8 million value was given up to the 30th, does anyone honestly expect they sold the rest of 700-800K in only 3 days? No, they have shipped 2.8 million to retailers (sold-in) and approximately 2.0 million were sold to customers (sell-through). How much is it now? Well, if we assume the usual Mario Kart legs, it probably sold less than last month, 200K +/-  for all of July.  

For the third time, I get the difference between sell-through and shipped. I don't need a lecture or have their definitions explained to me.

And, as previously stated, we cannot blindly assume something to be shipped "because it always is".

Having said that, I appreciate your logic that Takeda confirmed MK8 's figures were approximately 2 million sold-through to customers by June 27th, and that 2.82 million by 30th June would indicate that the latter figure indicates shipped, going by the sheer difference. In the absence of definitive proof, your logic is sufficient for me to accept that in this case, we are talking about shipped.
