Can you get banned if you post fake info on April's fools?

Well, some forums ban April Fool jokes so it being banned is not completely out of the question, but it doesn't seem to be the case here. It's fun and all but when a whole bunch of people start doing it, it's rather annoying and nothing more than a disturbance.
