Considering how the X1 has been doing recently, I'm even less certain that Halo 5 will help X1 win NPD. Titanfall didn't help. Unbundling the Kinect didn't help either. The American consumers have made up their minds. And considering the positive reception of the Destiny beta (and this is just beta, too!), Destiny might end up some of the Halo series' thunder. After all, it is being made by the original makers of Halo.
