lol Chrom.

There's no arbitrary trilogy of Pokemon types that needs to be completed. They won't add Sceptile just for the sake of having a grass-type. We already have an electric-type, a fire/flying-type, a fighting/steel-type, and a water/dark-type. And most likely Jigglypuff (normal/fairy) will return, and possibly Mewtwo (psychic). There's a great deal of diversity among the Pokemon representatives already.

Ridley is a stage boss, the sooner you accept this the better. Maybe he'll technically be playable through some extra mode where a fifth player controls the stage boss.

If Zelda ever gets another rep, it will probably be Impa. No one else merits a playable role unless they start introducing more recurring characters. There was once a time when Vaati may have been going down that road, but he hasn't been seen in almost 10 years.

Star Fox isn't getting a fourth rep this time around and hopefully Nintendo will write Krystal out of the series entirely with next year's reboot.

A month ago I would have said Dark Pit was a lock for a Pit alt, but Lucina obviously opens the door to new clones, which I didn't think we'd see. So it's possible.

K Rool, no... Bandana Dee, no... The only reason anyone thinks Chorus Kids will be in is because of the Gematsu leak. The Smash Run enemy does suggest the presence of a Rhythm Heaven rep, but there's no indication aside from a rumor to suspect that this character(s) will be the Chorus Kids. But it's probably them so whatever.

Why exactly is Isaac considered more likely than Shulk? That's the most blatant of all the wishful thinking in the OP.
