I suppose it is possible. But I think a gamepadless console would be more likely, and that doesn't seem all that likely.

Yes i come to that too.. A gamepad less version would remove to many functionalitys and the "special" of the console just to make it 30-40$ cheaper (there still need a controller in the box) .. i don't see it

To the topic.. We know Nintendo proberly will do a hyprid next gen.. So it would not make sense to do it in the WiiU's end.. but i could see it happend 2-3 years from now.. it makes sense.. if they can get the power of WiiU in a handheld and battery for 4-5 hours (it could be a litle bigger than Upad is now)

They could also choose to go the "vita tv" way.. Meaning a Normal Upad.. and a super slim WiiU "cube".. that would offcourse remove the portable function, but that would mayby make sense for Nintendo.. (not to make the true portable console before next gen few years after)

To the "should have HDMI"... Nintendo could make a recierver to the tv, and just send the signal the other way

Last.. We may see this first in china.. Nintendo sayd that they would need some other than just a normal WiiUfor that market

This could very well mean a hybrid.. And it would not even need the power of WiiU.. Would make it cheaper and also if it's not yet posible

(I bet a lot of Nintendo's WiiU games can run on lower Hardware..   And they can also lower settings a litle = Almost the same MK 8)
