They tried all 4 setups on XPlay last week and they liked Wiimote/nunchuck the best, and just Wiimote second best. G/C actually came in third, I was surprised by that, and they said they were as well. There was a shot the showed where you had to bounce from one object to another, I'm assuming that was motion based.
But they did like G/C the best for Smash.
