Sounds like paid PR stuff, but the author is pretty much right when he said it feels like "Halo-plus." I only got to play a couple hours of the beta before the plug got pulled last night, but so far the game felt like Halo meets Mass Effect with some MMO sprinkled in for good measure.
A more accurate title for the game would've been World Of Halo. Or Halo Effect.
